Should I get a fujifilm finepix s1800 digital camera?

Randa Hessell: I have one and i love it! For me photography is just a hobby, but i was able to buy the camera with my own money, and it takes great pictures! The zoom is great and the photo quality is great too. In dim lighting the photos get fuzzy, but that would probably just be because i don't know how to compensate!

Providencia Serpe: My husband bought me this camera as an up grade from my point and shoot digital camera. Granted I have only had it for a few days but I love it! I consider myself a novice in training, so some features of this camera I am still struggling with, such as setting shutter speed and aperture. I don't even know what aperture is right now, but I am learning. I have used the SP mode, panorama mode and video mode but so far I stick to the auto mode till I learn more. The zoom is incredible on this camera, I took a picture from over a block away and it was crystal clear like I was standing there! The sport setting on the SP mode is awesome a! s well, I finally was able to get pictures of my cat/dog playing and running around. The clarity of the pictures is way better then my point and shoot as well as audio playback. I love the fact that you can switch(with the push of a button) from LED screen to electronic view finder for that traditional camera feel. It was way lighter then I expected but I don't mind that. It came packaged in its box (disks, manuals, lens cap, padded shoulder strap, batteries and av/usb cords) that was packed in another box with plenty of packing supplies to keep it from moving about....Show more

Russel Gajate: Fuji makes great cameras, but what's more important how good is the service that's behind your purchase? I am here to related my experience with Fuji. I own a Fujifilm S20 Pro (discontinued a few years go). The LCD screen turned white, I called Fuji. They told me send in the camera. Being on the cautious side, I requested an estimate! (since the majority of digital camera repair! s cost more than the camera is worth). The long and short of t! his was the camera was repaired and at no charge! Now I am not saying Fuji does not charge for repairs, but the fact remains they could have attached a charge and how would I know? So if this the type of company you want backing your purchase- BUY THE CAMERA!...Show more
