Why do you think television is better than reading?

Neely Youngblut: One reason why people like television better than reading because it is more visual and it requires a shorter attention span. Everything on the television is cut in to several segments and there is more action which can hold a person's attention. The vocabulary that is used on the television is lower than the vocabulary used in a book so it's easier for people to understand what people are saying. Azzie Trembly: Get to see it rather than read it, get to see what the characters look like rather than the image in your head.

Justin Casten: It brings your imagination to life. You don't have to imagine what happens in a show, you can watch it be acted out. That way it's much more fulfilling and a lot more prominent in your memories.

Enriqueta Steffen: You get a better image of whats happening,You see how the situation is being done rather than reading it and having a chance of misinterpreting it.Also when reading a book you may have a different opinion on what was done, than another person because of how it was written but in a movie everyone see's the image of what happens(the one point of view).
