performing arts schools?

Donny Bankson: A great performing arts school you should look into is - Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. It is an elite performing arts boarding school to facilitate music - vocal, orchestra, and instrumental. They have dance students, visual arts, and academics. They have the academy for the regular school year, and a summer camp which usually lasts for 6 - 8 weeks. I attended the academy for the school year, my senior year of high school. I play the flute, and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I finally got to be around other talented musicians who wanted to play. It was a motivating and inspiring environment all around. The campus is in Northern Michigan, and behind my dorm was a big lake. Beautiful environment filled with talented students from all 50 states & many countries. It is an honor to be accepted into this school, as in my situation, with the flute, they only took 16 flutes that year, and I was one of them. Also, they limit their! enrollment to about 425 students a year. It is an expensive school, however, there are many donors, who give great scholarships to those who need it.
