Toby Women: For basketball, I'm pretty sure it's NBA 09: The Inside. Life is for MLB. I have the game. I prefer this over 2K sports games (they suck). It's just like any other basketball games. You can play all NBA teams. There's the regular mode like Quickplay and then there's Franchise, just like you wanted. There are also online leagues if you play online (obvious). Overall, I think it's a great game.
