Amada Greising: Real Estate is owning your own business. If you don't prospect, you will have no business. It's a 24/7 business, people expect you to be available and ready. It's not a part time job. It is easy to get the license, it's not easy to stay in the business, without capital and a business plan. You have to prospect daily and how you do that is up to you. This is your business, you have to decide how you are going to make it work, thrive and grow.My best advise for anyone, get your degree, have a back up plan if Real Estate doesn't turn out to be the right place for you. It's work history is worthless in the corporate world, most companies won't hire an "X" Realtor. The! re is no unemployment benefits. So consider carefully before making your decision and spending all the money to take the classes and get the license....Show more
