In my own case, for example, the art of Salvador Dali has led me to
challenge my own perceptions - to look at the world in more than one
way, and to see that there are many possible meanings. Also, English
plays - from Shakespeare to Stoppard - have allowed me to get outside
my own head, and view the world from another background with another
set of eyes. <br>

So I guess I would say that the humanities have provided me with
distance - with a platform to stand on from which I can make sense of
all the contradictions out there, and also to look at myself as others
might see me (either better or worse, depending on the situation).

see what you have learned from this experience. But make sure u know
